Tojiin Temple (ALC-150)

From the Peaceful Gardens in Kyoto collection.

William has chosen the white stone bridge to be one of the focal points in this image. It is gently encircled by rich green foliage; the water below it is still, and nurtures the plants and calms our souls. Due to the overall greenness of this image, we can appreciate even more the small pink azalea flowers that appear here and there. Everything in this image is gentle and peaceful—even the fence, which is made of thin bamboo, is gently curved in unison with the round shapes of the bushes.
