“William Corey: Japanese Gardens” Celebrates the Denver to Tokyo Inaugural Flight
From June 1st, 2013 to May 31st, 2014, Denver International Airport in Colorado featured William Corey’s Japanese garden photographs in a public exhibition. The exhibition, “William Corey: Japanese Gardens,” was mounted to inaugurate the first Denver-Tokyo flight. Twelve of Corey’s photos were displayed around the U.S. Customs Arrivals area of the airport’s Jeppesen Terminal. The show represented a step toward the realization of Corey’s dream that his work serve as an artistic/cultural bridge between U.S. and Japan.
“I would like to thank all the people who have been so supportive of realizing this exhibition. I sincerely hope this exhibition will introduce more people internationally to the beauty of Japanese Gardens and attract more people to fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.”
