One can see the peaceful juxtaposition of the opposing/contrasting elements in this composition. The geometrical, man-made structure is placed next to the round, curvy nature – garden. One is also looking out to the world of nature outside from within. Bright light and the vibrant colors of the gardens are even more stressed by the dark silhouette of the window sills, etc. …yet we are reminded that each of the seemingly opposing elements are not totally foreign to each other. In other words, both the gardens and the man-made structures (temple) are made of nature (natural elements) imbued by the idea and the genius of the humans ( gardeners-architects).
