安楽寺 (京都市左京区鹿ケ谷御所ノ段町21) NOT FOR SALE

The Anraku-ji temple was established around 1211/1212 to honor the martyred Buddhist monks, Anraku and Juren. This garden is “unique” for a Japanese garden, for it shows the strong geometrical, nearly symmetrical composition akin to the gardens in Europe. However, within the geometrically shaped bushes, one can enjoy the natural curvature of the azaleas bushes. Each section represent the different world, in a way.
